An effective organization is one which recognizes and maximizes the differences that exist between individuals whether based upon age, sexual orientation, gender, race or disability. This course examines between employees of different backgrounds and explores ways to respect an honor those differences.

Participants will learn to:

• Understand and appreciate the benefits of a culturally diverse workplace;
• Foster respect and appreciation of cultural differences;
• Understand the cultural impact on behavior;
• Communicate effectively in a diverse workplace;
• Facilitate cooperation and teamwork among employees of diverse backgrounds; and
• Identify overt and covert bias in the workplace.
